Privacy

Dotcoder operates this website. It is a catalogue of the studio’s work, not a service that asks you to register.

What the public pages do

The public pages — home, Explore and every profile under it, About, Contact, and this page — set no analytics or advertising cookies and collect no personal information beyond what our host keeps in standard server logs. Fonts and images are served from this site, not fetched from another company.

What this site never does

There is no analytics product, no advertising or tracking pixel, no cross-site identifier, and no sale or sharing of personal information. Nothing on the public pages profiles you or follows you to another website.

This is the complete list of what this site can put in your browser. If a name is not in this table, this site did not write it.

On a local development server without HTTPS the two gate cookies drop the __Host- prefix and are named dotcoder_alpha and dotcoder_alpha_csrf. Clearing site data in your browser removes every item above.

Hub sign-in

Opening the members’ collection or the sign-in flow first sets the Alpha session cookie, so the password gate can remember this browser.

Membership itself is handled by hub.dotcoder.info. This site sends you there, receives an authorization code on return, and exchanges it for tokens that it holds only in tab-scoped sessionStorage. Tokens are never written to localStorage and never sent anywhere except the Hub that issued them. Closing the tab ends the session. Developer operators sign in through a separate GitHub-authenticated hub, which is not part of this site.

Providers

Two services are involved in delivering this website.

RailwayHosts and serves this website. Like any host, it keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs, to operate and protect the service.Railway privacy policy ↗
hub.dotcoder.infoDotcoder Hub, the identity service behind members’ sign-in. It is operated by Dotcoder itself, so it is first party rather than a third party, and this policy covers what this site does with the result.

Email

If you write to dev@dotcoder.info, we keep your message so we can reply to it and keep track of the conversation. We do not sell it or share it, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Ask at the same address and we will delete it.

Products

Individual products — JoinLinks, the EnetixData platforms, a game, an operator tool — have their own privacy terms and their own accounts, presented inside those products. This page covers this website only and does not cover them.

Your rights

Anyone may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about them — in practice, email correspondence — by writing to dev@dotcoder.info.

California residents

We do not sell or share personal information as that is defined by the CCPA and the CPRA, and nobody is treated differently for exercising these rights.

Children and location

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian may write to dev@dotcoder.info to ask for a child’s information to be deleted.

This site is hosted in the United States, and information reaching us — server logs and email — is processed there. Visiting from elsewhere means that information travels to the United States.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on this website. Every build runs an automated accessibility check, and pages are designed to work with the keyboard alone, at increased text size, and in both light and dark colour schemes.

Known limitations

Members’ sign-in needs JavaScript; the public pages do not.
Generated cover art is decorative and carries no text alternative, because the product name and description sit next to it.

If something on this site blocks you, please report it to dev@dotcoder.info and say which page and which browser or assistive technology you were using. We will reply and fix what we can.
